Truly in fact just a wall in a house, built in Berkeley to reduce the rent, constructed like a set flat so as to be removable with just one drill and leaving no significant scarring. 1/4” ply upon homasote, prehung door, custom cut glass window above, and extra braces for cabin-style shelves. The intersection of the wall and the faux fireplace had to occur because of the location of the skylight above. Lol! This intersection felt like a vortex into another plane, it was very exciting and a challenge to form.
